GTLLER informs the Public of South1. land that, on the 19th instant, he will have relinquished a portion of his official duties, and will then resume his former busincssof AUCTIONEE X, APPRAISER ACCOUKTAINT, HOUSE, ESTATE, and COMMISSION AGENT. He makes this announcement from a conviction that on opening presents itself, whereby he can, from hi* cxterience in each branch of the abovenamed businesses, and his knowledge of {commercial matt< r 3 generally, acquired both in the home country and four years' residence in and near Invercargill, offer his friends, and those of the public who may confer on him their support, a first-rate medium for the advantageous disposal (either by public sale or private treaty) of any property intrusted to him for that purpose. The influential connection i:e has had the privilege of forming, during Ins colonial experience, together with his position as Clerk of the Provincial Council (which office he still holds), and the evidence of a testimonial as to the confidence reposed in him by the Provincial Government, will, he trusts be a sufficient guarantee of his integrity and business qualifications, and insure to his patrons the conduct of all transactions they may confide to him on a strictly and uniformly respectable basis. This principle of business is especially submitted to the notice of persons non-resident (but having property)in this Province, as calculated to initiate and sustain that good faith which should exist between principal and agent. Pending the erection of more commodious premises, he is about to open a temporary Office and Sale Yard in the rear of the Bauk of New Zealand, with an entrance from the front of the Albion Hotel, Dee-street, where he will be prepared to receive the commands of his supporters, which will at all times meet his most prompt and careful attention.
