The only special items of intelligence is the advaice of Ho jker's army, which crossed the Rapp vliannock about twelve miles below Ifredericksburg. VICTORIA. The vacant seat in the Cabinet is likely to be filled by a member of the late Ministry. Captain M'Mahon,it is said, is to be the new Postmaster General. It was remarked that along with other Ministers, he was absent from the House last evening. Mr Nicholson, it was remarked, took his scat on the Opposition cross benches, next to the gangway, and not besido his lato colleagues, on the front Opposition bench.
