The following Notice to Mariners, received from tho Government of Victorians published for general information. Reader Wooi>, In the absence of Mr. Domett. Colonial Secretary's Office, Auckland, 3rd June, 1863. " Notice to Makikers. " Mock in Bass' Straits. " A rock awesh having been reported to e-xi=t in Bass' Straits, about five or siv mii^o '"«*<= ? rr -* Jor tne Crocodile Roc<c, search for which has hitherto been unsuccessful, navigators are cautioned to keep J a good look out when in the neighborhood of its assigned position. " The undermentioned bearings have been given as the position of this supposed danger : — "Devil's Tower, E. by S. t s -> distant four miles. " Curtis Island, S. £ E."
