"'V'Alnambra having arrived at theßluff about on 25th June, left Melbourne at 1 p.m. on 20th June, thus making the passge in 5 days, and being only 24 hours hehind the Omeo. which left Melbourne four days before her. Captain M'Lean reports as follows -.—Spoke the Gothenburg, bound inwards, in the Bay, 10 miles from Melbourne ; on the 21st spoke the City of Hobart off Flinders Island, experienced fine weather during the passage. The Alhambra had 22 saloon aad 80 eteerage passengers, and a full general carero. * The barque Sea Breeze,which is to sail to-day for Invercargill. has on board fifty-four head of fine young working bullocks, in good condition and fit for the butcher, and twenty head of cart stock, Xj priDdfpally mares of a superior class, all shipped by Mr Richard Symmons, the charterer of the vessel. The ship is fitted up in a very substantial manner, and has a plentiful supply, of fodder and ■water. Besidps the stock mentioned she takes a quantity of colonial produce, consisting of flour, oats, potatoes, and fruit. It is to be hoped the stock will arrive at its destination in good condition; if so it will prove a valuable importation for the Invercargill settlers. Messrs.
