Hides — All prime qualities of Australian Bold readily at former rates ; lower sorts dull of sale. Leather — Prices of Australian declined Jd to Jd per pound. Bark— Decline of 203 to 40s per ton. Market continues quiet. Horns and Bones — Large sales effected, at previous rates. Tallow — Price fluctuating. PYC, on spot, 43s to 43s 6d. Australian meets ready sale, at an average of 39s to 40s. Stock on "hand, 41,823 casks against 37,460 last year. Oils— Colonial sperms sold at LB2 ; double compass Southern, L 43 10s. Whalebone — Little business doing; Southern held for L22oj and Northern, LSOO per ton. Coffee in good demand; advance Is to 2». Svgar — The stock is 12,000 tons more than last year. No change in prices has taken place, but extensive speculations m floating cargoes.
