June 8. Nothing doing in flour, prices nominal. Price a-ked for wheat al Fort, 5s 3d ; in town, dray loads, 4s lOd to os. There has been a large meeting of the Chamber of Commerce to discuss the tariff. The opposition to the ad valorem duties is very' great among merchants and tradesmen. The opposition to tho-se duties was carried by a large majority in Chamber.
