(From the Chronicle, May 30.; Several s les of large parcels of wheat have been effected this week at iis 6 J per bushel, nnd notwithstanding the news ot' an arrival at Sydney of a cargo of breadstuff^ from California, and of another to follow, the tendeno of wheat and flour is still upwards. Flour is firm at £13 10s. Feed oats range from 4s lOd to ss, and prime seed, for which there is a local demand, are quoted at 5s G.I to 5s 9d per bushel. (From the Examiner. May aOj. Wheat has further advanced in prico ; transactions have taken place at 5s 6d, and we hear of n sale at a yet higher figure. Flour is firm nfc £\?> 10s, with an upward tendency. Trussed hay remains at £6 to £6 10s. Bran, Is 3d. Other quotations unaltered.
