About 4-. miles from town, the road turns to the left, and from thence to Win ton Bush ( 18 miles) the dray track should be kept, then the Surrey line to the River Orcti (VI miles) ; from thence follow the dray-track to the Elbow Accommodation House. By this route, 30 miles arc saved, and if the Oreti is liiffh the East Bank can be kejrt all the way. There is an accom modation house at Wallace, town, 7 miles from Tnverrart/ill ; another at the Lime Hills, 25 miles; another at the Elbow, 54 miles; another at Rogers, 74 miles ; and another at the foot of the Lake, "92 miles.
