GREECE.
The Greek throne is still unoccupied, *nd no new candidate has appeared during the month. The report of the National Assembly shows an almost unanimous vote in favor of Prince Alfred, who had 230.0H votes, his nearest competitor, the Due de Leuchtenberg, having only 2,400. The Assembly accordingly solemnly decreed Prince Alfred king, and directed the Provisional Government to invite his Royal Highness to take possession of the throne
