LICENSING COUET
The Court sat for the purpose of considering applications for licenses, on Tuesday. Present : M Price, Esq., R.M., and H. JM'Culloch, Esq., J.P. A renewal of the license to keep open to ten o'clock was granted to the following parties, viz., James Lang, Gelden Fleece Hotel; A. Puettelkow, Provincial Hotel, Invercargill ; Hugh M'lnfcosh, Halfway Bush ; Charles Humphries, and W. 15. Bastian, Riverton. An extension to twelve o'clock was granted to J. J. Watso a, Victoria Hotel, and A. M. Cameron, Albion Hotel. Thomas Connell, of the Commercial Hotel, was refused the extension. Licenses were granted to J. Gr. Hughes, and A. M'Donald, of Campbeltown. Applications made by B. G. Hoskins, and I" Watson, were withdrawn, and permission granted to present fresh applications, when the respective premises for which the licenses were sought had been completed. Mr. Harvey supported both applications.
