METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATIONS DURING MARCH, 18G3. The mean tempeiature of the month •vvas 51 2 cleg., which is 4-1 deg. below the average of the four previous years. The thermometer rose to its highest on the 7th, and fell to its lowest on the Gtli, — the range being 46 degrees. Showery weather w;»s prevalent up to the 20th ; heavy fails of rain occurred on the 2nd, 16th, and 22nd. The amounts being 0-98 inch, 1 52 inch, and T36 inch iespectively. The wind blew from N.W. on 13 days, and from W. on 14 days ; strong gales from the latter quaiter were experienced en the 24th and 29th. — ,
