NOTICE is hereby given that a Bill intituled, " An Oidinance to Close Up a Certain Koad in the Invercargill Hundred, in the I'rovince of Southland, and to autho'- ! rise the L.ue of Crown Grants of Portions of the Land occupied by the said Road, to the several Persons throngh whose several Properties the same passes; and to Open a new Line of Koad over ceitain o'hef Lands in the said Hundred, being Private Propert^v, and to make provision for the Payment of Compensation to the Owners of such Propeity," will be introduced at tl-.c ensuing y ess ion of the Provincial Council ; and thai the lands proposed to be taken for the new line of road are the following, that is to say,— . 1. All that parcel of land situate in the Invercargill Hundred, and being in continuation of the Invereargili and Bluff Road from the boundary of Sections 5 and 6 of ISlocklll, 1 chain in width-, on a curve of 60 chains radius concave to the East for a distance of 2l'i chains, then in a straight line tangential to "the said curve for 3J? ohains, until it rejoins the said road towards the East side of and passing through Sections 6, 7, 8, and part of 0, of the said Block 111. 2. All that parcel of land situate in the said Invercargill Hundred, being portion of the property of Robert Dalrymple, Esq., and commencing at the Wesiern boundary ;. f the said property, 160 links and 276 links from where the said boundary crosses the Western side of the present made road, being 1- chain wide, and running in a straight line till it joins the said made road 011 the South East of an angle in the same about 1 1 chains to the North West of the Wannatua Bridge, being 10 chains long (mean length), and containing 1 acre, more or less.
