TASMANIAN MARKETS.
Hobart Town, Jan. 19. The markets were in no way improved to-day. Little -was doing, and the sales of produce effected were few. Good wheat continues to realize from j 6s to 6s 3d per bushel. A moderate local demand for flour exists at£l3 and £li per ton. Oats and barley comes forwurd very slowly. There is no alteration in price. Good loose hay readily commands from £6 to £6 10 per ton ; country pressed from £7 to iS7 os. Potatoes are in demand at 4511 to £12 per ton. Butter, about Is lOd perlb. Oniona avo scarce, and quotations are slightly advanced. Launceston, Jan. 17 f Flour has declined about 10s per ton. The quotation for large parcels now is £10 10s, bags in; but the millers demand £11 10s. "Wheat is quoted ot 4s 6d per bushel. Wo have seen no parcels of new oats yet. flay continues ucarco at £o per ion, farmers being too busy to send it into market.
