LATER NEWS FROM ENGLAND.
(Via California.) Sydney, 7th Jan. English news has arrived to the 31st of Oct., which states that the sovereignty of Greece was offered to Prince Alfred. Hussia is charged with causing the revolution of that kingdom. Mr Slidell, the Southern Commissioner, has visited Napoleon officially, but the object and result of Ms interview are not known. The fleet under the command of Commodore Wilkes is causing considerable excitement.
