Great North Road.— Gravelling south from the Waihopai Bridge to the termination of the clay opposite Mr. Blacklock's paddock, 14 feet wide, to be ten inches high in centre and six inches at sides. (Gravel to be obtained from the Gladstone Estate.) At per chain till noon of 10th instant. Forms of Tender (for filling up) maybe obtained at this office. HIS Honor the SupEitrNTENDENT directs it to be notified that a Reward of One Thousand Pounds will be paid to any party who shall discover a paying goldfield within twelve months from the date hereof, conditionally upon the discoverer or discoverers giving satisfactory proof to the Government that Sixteen Thousand Ounces of Gold, the bona fide produce of that particular field (being within the Province of Southland) Bball have been realized and brought to Invercargill within twelve months from the date of discovery thereof.
