Messrs Hamilton & Pbocxkk report: — The horse market this week has been tolerably "well supplied. Prices still keep up last week's quotations. Draught horses are enquired for, also superior hacks. We quota as follows : — Heavy draught horses from £85 to £100; medium, £60 to £75; superior hacks, £65 to £80; medium, £40 to £60. Fat Cattle, few in tho market; we quote best quality beef at from 60s to 6'ss per 100 lbs.; second do 45s to 60s. Store Cattle—Young cattle, £13 to £16; mixed, according to age and condition, delivered, £10 to £15. Working bullocks mid dairy cows—we hare a very superior lot. of v.irking bullocks for sale on Thursday, the Bth JauLwry. E;ally good dairy co'.vs are enquired ,
