The Airedale, Captain Kennedy, is again on the Infer- Provincial lin.v, west coast. The Lord Ashley, under the efficient, command of her late chief officer, Mr Itandall, is to he placed on th 3 east coast lino in March. QLVo new nnd powerful ships are about- to be added to the Company's licet. Tin- first has been purchased on the stocks, and will sailrfrom London in January. She is said to be a magnificent ship ; treasures 800 ton*, of 150 hur?e power, with a guaranteed speed of elwn knots. The -second ship for the Inter- Provincial trade is also a new vessel uf fioOtons; she is to leave England in February.
