Messrs HAaniiTOjr <fc Pbocxeb reports— • Business rather dull during the former part of the week, with an imnrovement towards the close on account of the rush to the, diggings. .Young horses, both draught and saddle, are in great demand. We quote as follows : — Fat Cattle, from 60s to 60s per 100 lbs ; medium, «15 to £25. Fat Sheep, prime mutton. 40s to 455. average 375; Store Ca'tle enquired for, if brought in small lots would fetch high price's. Horses? Superior heavy draught horses, £50 to £80 ; medium and inferior do, #35 to £60 ; good useful hacks, £25 to £50. Store Sheep : Imported ewes, 38s to 28s ; wethers, 30s to 355. Enquiries for store stock of all description. We have sold. to-day about 90 head mixed cattle at &n average of £11. Fat stoek of every kind or description in great demand, and we should advise our constituents to forward any that they may have at once. .
