Parsonage Pudding. Take two eggs, their weight in butter (melted), their weight in flour, two dessertspoonfuls of marmalade, two ditto of raspberry jam, the weight of the eggs in bread crumbs, and two teaspoonfuls of soda. Beat the eggs well, and add the melted buttet, flour, crumbs, jam, and marnalade. Beat all well together, and, lastly, put in the soda. Butter a basin, pour in the mixture, tie it down, and steam for two hours. This is a very old favourite in our household, and is really a delicious pudding if carefully made. It turns out a dark-brown colour, and is as light as a feather.
