The j. g. ward farmers’ association OF N.Z., LTD., have received instructions from Mr Wm. Smellie, of Edendale, who has given up the lease of his farm, to sell the whole of his dairy herd of selected cows, also all his dead and live stock, comprising the following—--32 FIRST CLASS Cows 15 YOUNG Cattle 1 BULL 5 DRAUGHT and Light Horses 30 BREEDING Ewes Also, Pigs, Fowls, Harness, 2 Drays, 1 Reaper and Binder, Spring Cart, 3 Ploughs, 1 Roller, 2 Grubbers, Blocks and Chains, 1 Reid and Gray Turnip Sower and lot sundries. LUNCHEON PROVIDED. Outside entries invited.

The deceased who lived for some jears near Riversdale, had suffered from influenza and also from the effects of a kick on the head from a horse.
