Notice is hereby given that the Southland County Council is prepared to give subsidies at the rate of pound for pound to the amount raised by Farmers* Clubs and Local Committees towards the destruction of small birds, either for poisoned grain or collecting of sparrows and linnets eggs, to the extent of a sum not exceeding L2O in each riding. The money to be paid over on certificate of the chairman of such Club or Committee that such Club or Committee has expended for the above mentioned purpose twice the amount of the subsidy claimed and voted.
