AUCTIONEERS’ REPORTS.

The National Mortgage and Agency C 0.,. Ltd., report as follows

Business continues quiet, and little change can be reported, although fortunately theweather is very good, thereby enabling those who were rather short of feed to keep out of the markets. Enquiries are already being made for Spring purchases, and we have every hope that as soon as the grass comesthcra will be a good amount of business done. Of course store stock, in sympathy with thefat market, will be lower in price, but thisneed not alarm owners, as they have known that prices were too high and can as easily, or possibly more easily, make money with store stock at fair values. Cattle were in good demand, as they consisted chiefly of young stock, and nearly all. were sold.
