AUCTIONEERS’ REPORTS.

The J. O. Ward F.A. report having held a clearing sale at Heddon Bush, on account of Messrs P. and J. Ryan, on Wednesday, 6th inst. The attendance was very good, and the sale, as a whole, went off very well. The following prices speak for themselves : ■ —Draught horses, about 20 offered, brought from £ls to £27 ; a old entire colt, bred on the farm, was passed in at £SO. In sheep, hoggets sold, for medium sorts, at 7s, culls at 3s Lid; large-framed crossbred ewes at 13s 3d. Milch cow t s were in keen demand, medium sorts being as high as £7 15s ; yearlings and fwo-year-olds brought at from 28s to £3 11s. A large entry of implements and harness was disposed of at satisfactory prices. W inton Sale. — On the following day (Thursday) we held our monthly sale at above yards, when a fair entry of stock was . offered, competition comparing favourably with that in other districts. Sheep : Well grown, well woolled hoggets sold at from 7s 6d to 9s 4d ; light at from 4s to 6s 6d ; culls at 3s 6d ; well grown wethers at from 10s 6d to 12s, lighter at from 7s 6d to 9s ; fat wethers at 12s 6d,— Cattle : Forward conditioned steers at from £4 10s to £5 10s ; two-year-old steers and heifers from £3 to £3 15s ; yearlings from £1 10s to £2 2s; milch cows, medium sorts, from £4 15s to to £6 —Pigs : Suckers from 8s to 11s each.
