Not only (says the Pall Mall Gazette) was Sunday desecrated by such an unmaidenly proceeding, hub her cycling sisters will be scandalised to learn that she wore male costume, and that of the scantiest, and rode a machine built for one of the opposite sex. She was also “ paced” and cheered on by a number of Brighton cyclists.
