BLUFF NOTES.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) The brass band gave a most enjoyable concert o» Thursday evening, and if sufficient inducement offers they will continue the practice throughout the winter. A debating club is now in course of formation, and should prove a success. The next meeting will be held on the 18th inst. The Bluff boats Ringapuhi and Maori Girl visited the Sailing Club’s regatta at Invercargill on Wednesday, and had matters entirely their own way. This, however, does not detract from the sailing qualities ef the other boats taking part in the races, as it is very questionable if two other boats, of the same length of keel, could be found to compete with the Ringapuhi and Maori Girl.
