SOUTHLAND GIRLS’ HIGH SCHOOL. ■PHE above schools will reopen for the work “ of the First Term 189-1 on Tuesday, 6th February, at 9.30, at which time all pupils are requested to be present. The Headmaster will be in attendance at the School on Monday, sth February, from 10 a.m. until noon to enrol new pupils. Pupils in the Boys’,. School can enter for either a Classical or a Commercial course—the latter including Commercial Arithmetic, Book-keeping, Commercial Letter Writing, Mensuration and Agricultural Chemistry. Attention is directed to the Boarding Establishment in connection with the Boys’ School, adjoining the school grounds and conducted by Mr Macalistcr, the resident master. The building is supplied with every convenience, and is commodious and the situation is healthy. The resident Master personally superintends the preparation of lessonsin the evening.
