The Star and. I.C.C. Seconds met for the second time this season on'Wednesday, 10th, when the latter were defeated by 3D runs. Sampson captained Ihe Star and Pratt the I.C.C. The former, winning the toss, elected 1o bat first, and were soon all disposed of for 41, Sampson playing well for his 27 (not out). The I.C.C. on going to the wickets fared worse still, only managing to put together 25, 0f which Pratt made 20. JLhe Star in their second innings made a mncli better stand, tjio total being 47, before all were disposed of, Oibson (10) being the only double figure. In their Fcconl attempt, the I.C.C. made another poor display. When time was called 4 wickets had" fallen for 18, thus leaving them 46 to make to win. Going to the wickets last Wednesday the score was not much altered, only six run? being put on (two of the I.C.C. being absent). Maloy with 7 wickets for 16 and G for 24 proved rather destructive. Kane secured 4 wickets for 21 in the second innings. Watson shattered the timber in both innings, taking 4 for S and 5 for 11.
