Tickets from stations between Kingston and Harringtons, inclusive, and from Mossburn Branch" will be available either via Waimea Plain? or Invercargill. Passengers must commence journey on day tickets are taken out, and may break it at any stopping place on direct line of route after travelling 20 miles from issuing station. These tickets may be extended to make them available for a further period of a fortnight on payment of the difference in fare between an ordinary single ticket and half the excursion fare. Ordinary return tickets for distances of 20 miles and under issued from December 19th to January 2nd, inclusive, will be available for return "up to and including January 13th. On Wednesday, December 13th, the usual 6 a.m train from Clinton to Invercargill will be accelerated as follows : Pukarau, depart 7.5 a.m., Gore 7.45 a.m., Mataura 8.7 a.m., Edendale 8.35 a.m., Woodlands 9.20 a.m., arriving Invercargill 10 a.m. The usual 4.20 p.m. Clinton train will not leave Invercargill till 5.30 p.m., Woodlands 6.10 p.m., Edendale 6.50 p.m.; Gore 7.50 p.m., arriving Clinton 9.30 p.m. The usual 4.30 p.m. Lumsden train will not leavs Invercargill till 6.15 p.m., Makarewa 6.50 p.m., Winton 7.45 p.m., arriving Lumsden 9.35 p.m. The usual 5 p.m. Bluff train will not leave Invercargill till 5.20 p.m. The usual 4.5 p.m. Orepuki train will not leave Invercargill till 5-55 p.m., Makarewa 6.30 p.m., Thornbury 7.25 p.m., Eiverton 7.55 p.m., arriving Urepuki 9.5 p.m. The usual 10.25 a.m. Nightcaps train will not leave Eiverton till 6.55 p.m., Thornbury 7.23 p.m., Otautau 8.18 p.m., arriving Nightcaps. 9.10 p.m. BY OEDEE.
