Mails will close as follows:— Tuesday, Oct. 10—For the United Kingdom, the Continent of Europe, East and West Coasts of South America, per R.M.S Doric at 3.45 p.m. The above steamer will leave Lyttelton on. 12th inst and be due at London on 22nd. November. Parcels for this mail will close at 3. 15 p.m. Thursday, 12th October—For Puysegur Point, per s.s. Invercargill at 12.3 J. p.m Friday, 13th October—For Bechuanaland, Cape Colony, Mashonaland, Natal, Orange Free State, and the South African Republic, by the Aberdeen Line (direct) from Melbourne, at 10. 15. a.m. Fcr the United Kingdom and the Continent of Europe (via Brindisi) India, China, Japan* Straits Settlements, Aden, Egypt, Tasmania, and the Australian Colonies, per s.s.
