A BAD SPELL.
A few days ago an old gentleman was seen nailing a notice on a fence. A friend passing said : “ Why don’t you have the notice put in the paper, where people can read it P ” “ Well,” said the old gentleman, if I took it to the newspaper orfice them newspaper fellers would, get it spelled wrong, and then somebody anight think it was my eddicashun what had been neglected. The notice read : “ Howze fnr rent inchoir on the preymesis,”
