NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Southland County Council on 11th Aug. 1893, made the following rates —A GENERAL RATE of three farthings in the pound, and a HOSPITALS and CHARITABLE AID; RATE of one-eighth of a penny in the pound on the ratable value of all the ratable property on the valuation lists of the several Ridings of Southland County, payable in one sum on the first day of September; 1893, at the office of the said Council, Invercargill. ALSO a MINING PROPERTY RATE of three farthings in the pound on the ratable value of all the ratable mining property in Southland County, payable in one sum on the first day of September, 1893, at the office of the Southland County Council aforesaid.
