WHERE WOMEN CAN FIND HUSBANDS.
Under this heading The Million gives a list of the colonies in which there is an excess of men oyer women. New Zealand is among the places enumerated, and it is stated -that the fair sex there exceed the “lords of creation ” by about 39,000. The Million concludes its article by offering to publish communications on the subject, : or to ! “ in any way advance the interests of those who, at present .separated by wide seas, might, if brought together or into communication with each other, become helpful and affectionate mates.” If this sort of thing goes on, it may yet be necessary to “protect” “ Our Girls” from foreign competitors.
