Mr J. S. Baxter, the well-known cash grocer, wishes us to state, that for the last nine or ten years ho has conducted his business on cooperative principles ; he began by selling vci’y cheap for cash, and as his business increased, instead of pocketing tha extra profit, or giving bonuses to purchasers, ho has from time to time very materially reduced the price of groceries, which is a very much hotter system than giving bonuses, as customers have not to wait in anticipation for them, but get them straight away whether they purchase os worth or cboU worth of goods.—Adyt.
