It looks as if we are in for a spell of frosty in which case ploughing will be interfered with. The Quadrille Assembly has opened its season with a good attendance, and will enable our young people to have a pleasant time during the winter months.

The telephone office has been opened to the public, and will prove a great convenience.

Mrs J. McLean, a very old and respected resident of this district passed away recently. Her husband and family have the sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.
