Notice is hereby given that the Southland County Council is prepared to receive applications from Farmers’ Clubs, Road Boards, Town Boards, and properly constituted Committees for subsidies towards destruction of small birds, the Council being agreeable to grant £ for £ towards amounts raised by Boards, Clubs, or Committees, proportionately, to a limit of £2O of subsidy in each riding. With a view of securing united action this offer will remain open until the Council meeting of 14th July, 1893. Subsequently the payment of subsidies will |be made only on presentation of a certificate of expenditure signed by the Chairman and one member of a board, club or committee. By Order, E. P.
