AN INSPIRATION.
A gentleman who does business in. the city, bnt lives in tbe suburbs, met a neighbour on tbe train. Tbe latter had a large ostrich egg. “What are you doing with that ostrich egg ?” “ I’m taking it out to my faun, where I am going to hang it up in-my poultry yard.” “ For what purpose ?” “ I want to inspire my hens with ambition to do better than they haA'c been doing.”
