Missing Friends
The following intimations are from Lloyds’ Weekly of 26th February:— Gibbs, Ernest Edwards, aged about 30, was at Poverty Bay, New Zealand, when last heard of, 11 years since. His aged father and sister Fanny seek him. Hancock, Joseph William, left London for New Zealand in May, 1885. Friends in Eastbourne would be glad to hear. Johnson, G.. in May, 1891, was at West Eyreton, New Zealand. His brother has had no news since. Martin, Emma, whose father was a lighterman, of Bermondsey, wishes to find her sister, Sarah Martin, who went to Nelson or Auckland, New Zealand, about 17 years since. Sarginson.- —Mary Elizabeth Violet Sarginson would like to find her uncle James Sarginson, who last wrote from Auckland; also her aunt Mrs Mudd, who was in New Zealand 10 years ago. Stephenson, Albert Edward, bootmaker, left his home in August, 1887, supposed for Australia or New Zealand. His mother asks.
