Correspondence.
A GOOD OBJECT.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I learn with much pleasure that a concert for the benefit of Mi* R. B. Wotton is in course of organisation. There are few men that as well deserve the sympathy and consideration of the Invercargill public. For upwards of thirty years he has given his assistance, in aid of many public charities and benefits. From the changes of time he has not escaped scatcheless, and now advancing in years, he is suffering from a serious illness. Lot us now do for him what he has so often done for others. We lately sent a nice sum to Queensland in aid of the distressed there, and in the fullness of our sympathy, we should not neglect or overlook a local brother. —Yours, etc., Citizen. April 26th.
