THE CALIFORNIAN THISTLE. The following’ conditions on which a bonus of £2oois offered fox* a means of eradicating the Californian thistle were published in the Gazette of the Gth inst 1. All applications fox* the bonus must be sent addressed to the Hon. the Ministex-of Agricultux’e, Wellington, and must be in his hands not latex* than the Ist June, 1893. 2. The mxxst be prepared to subxnit theix* proposed means of eradication in such manner and at such time and place as the Minister shall dli'ect. 3. The Government shall appoint a committee of three or xxxox-e persons, under whose instructions and before whom all tests shall be carried thi’oxxgh. 4. The proposed bonus, (9 .any paid thereof, will not bo paid until the proposed remedy has been proved effectual.
