"GUARDIANS OF THE WILD."

For New Year's Night a special picture programme and a long night dance will comprise the bill. _ The picture programme is headed oy "Guardians of the Wild," which features Eex, the King of Wild Horses. The picture should have a wide appeal not only for the youngsters, but for grown-ups as well who crave thrill and action with their Imovie fare. The theme of the story, is a combination ox drama and subtle touches of humour, in which Eex, the star plays the part of the rescuing hero to the girl who is trapped in a cabin in the midst of a raging forest fire The story was written and adapted by Basil Dickey, especially for Eex. • The supporting cast is excellent. Jack Perrin and his beautiful horse Starlight, are principals along with Ethlyne Clair, Southern Beauty, who has the heroine role.

"FOUR SONS." On Thursday and Friday, William Fox's great picture "Four Sons," will r occupy the "screen at the Maoriland. Youth and age bare their hearts in this superb story, which proved a smashing hit in New York and Australia. .
