SIXPENNY UMBRELLAS.

WEATHER WORRY CONQUERED. (Sun Special.) (Received This Dav, at 9 30 a.m.) BERLIN, Friday. The umbrella-baton is Berlin’s latest. It costs only sixpence and it is just the thing for a sudden shower, a sudden political row, or a sudden artack by thugs. There is no need to worry about weather prqspects so long as you have the equivalent of sixpence in your pocket. There is no need to worry much if someone steals vour umbrella. ? If that happens, and you find yourself caught in the rain, you will shortly be able simply to go to one of the multitude of automatic machines which a company is planning to erect. From this, sixpence will provide an umbrella of oiled paper, mounted on a stick of strong wood which will be handy for defence purposes. Umbrellas which will fit into an overcoat pocket are al ready appearing on London streets.
