SWIMMING.
Life Saving. The initiation of a life-saving class last season in conjunction with the Levin Swimming Club was a step rh the right direction. Quite a fair number of swimmers took up this branch of the club's activities, receiving tuition under Mr F. E. Leddra, whose experience proved of considerable benefit tp them. Now that the movement is firmly established, there should be a substantial increase in the number of those who are prepared to support this interesting and humane side of the club's activities.
Visit of Australians Followers of the. sport will be pleas ed to learn that the two Australian champions, Noel Evan, the youthful distance swimmer, and Keg Crier the sprint champion, aro to four the Dominion.
