HOROWHENUA CRICKET.
MATCHES ARRANGED WITH WELLINGTON ELEVEN. Advice has ben received by the Horowhenua Cricket Association from the Wellington . controlling body that, they wifi be pleased, as in former yeans, to send a team to Levin to meet a Horowhenua eleven. The intimation has been accepted, and the match will take place on Wednesday, November 20th. A return game will be played at Wellington on Anniversary Day (January 22nd). Last season Horowhenua won both the corresponding fixtureis. WERAROA CAPTAIN'S v. VICECAPTAIN’S TEAMS. The Weraroa Club, which will have a bye in the championship series on Saturday, November 16th, has arranged a matdh to be played on the Weraroa Reserve between teams under the leadership of the captain and vice-captain respectively. The sides have been chosen as under: — O’Connor (captain), HaTilamor.}, Watts, Rush, Ingram, C. Roe, Martin, Young, McLeavey, Bateman, .1. Wallace. • France (vice-captain), Bennett, Bull, E. Roe, J.
