BUCKLEY DRAINAGE BOARD ELECTION.
A poll of ratepayers was taken yesterday for the election of two Trustees for the Buckley subdivision of the Buckley drainage district. Three candidates offered themselves for election, viz.,' Hugh Charles Easton, Robert Waring Taylor, aud George Joseph Peers, the two former candidates being the retiring trustees. As a result of the election Mr R. Waring Taylor, who has been a trustee of the Board since it's inception alril chairman since about 1915, lotet Oiis seat. The following were the number of vo'tds recorded:— Hugh Charles Easton 22 George Joseph Peers 15 Robert Waring Taylor 13
