KEROSENE TREATMENT FOR CANCER.
NO SIGN OF RECURRENCE OF DISEASE. - AUCKLAND, October 19. Kerosene at nigh temperature allowed to cool to blood heat, and then injected, is claimed as a cure for cancer by a resident of Frankton. Three years ago L. N. White, of 54 Bandon Street, Hamilton, was sent to Auckland Hospital suffering from cancer. The case was considered incurable, and two years ago Mr White Avent back to Frankton with the belief that there was nothing to do but to wait for his death.
He. heard that kerosene injections would cure cancer, and lie decided to try the experiment. The process was an unpleasant and painful one, but he persisted, and was soon surprised to note good progress. He kept the treatment going, with the result that his ailment was evidently completely cured, and for the past year there has been no sign of any recurrence cf the disease.
“I feel that I have a duty to the public in letting them know Toy what a simple process I was cured,” said Mr White this morning. He said his case had been looked upon as a hopeless one, and that he was entirely given up by the doctors.
For over twelve months White has felt no pain, and iliere are no signs of a recurrence- of cancer.
The Health! Department instructed one of its officers to examine him, and the officer pronounced the cure effective. Whore the growth formerly was there now remains only a cavity.
