Mdlle. Madeleine Carron, interviewed by the Paris correspondent of the “Daily Mail,’-' has 'confirmed the report tlrat she will marry the Aga Khan, on November 201 h
She said that she proposed to apply for naturalisation papers as a British subject She does not intend to. give up her Roman Catholic religion—she says she has reached a complete agreement with the Aga Khain cm these points.
Since the Aga Khan is one of the (iggest figures in the Moslem, world, being head of the Ismaili Mohamcdan.s, with followers in East Africa, and Central Asia, his marriage to one of another religion is likely to ea-use a ferment amongst those of his creed, and the fact that, Mdlle. Carron is to retain her religion will probably lead to many complications.
