' first said that his wife forced him do the shopping and housekeeping to submit the accounts. If he prot ed she, was really violent. The ma trate refused a summons. The sec Avas very nervous and brought mother. He asked if the magisti would prevent his wife assaulting h The magistrate said that the prob was insoluble, but he would sent missionary to interview the Avife. third husband complained of pers ent cruelty. He said his wife thras him evety time he came home.
