THE QUEEN'S SYMPATHY
When the King was so seriously ill the Queen learned about a little girl who was lying in a hospital- at Isl".worth suffering from the same . complaint as his Majesty, and in the midst of her anxiety the Queen wrote "to the little girl and sent her Some- lovely flowers to be placed beside hex bed. The little patient has 'died, and when ' the Queen was told, her Majesty' at oiice had a letter of sympathy sent to the grieving mother.
