WHO CAN WEAR YELLOW.
Yellow is to be the favourite colour for the coming season, but the girl with a pale-skinned or average complexion with mid-brown hair should not wear too bright a shade of yellow. For her the safe tones for hat, over-blouse, or scarf are .primrose, pale daffodil, and a rich, buttery shade like the top layer on Devonshire cream. The girl with coppery-red hair can wear pale lemon yellow effectively, but it must not ineline too much toward lime, because that would throw out her complexion into too great a relief. Creamy maize is also good. Redhaired women have generally vivid complexions, but it is a curious fact that while a true, clear shade of green accentuates their charms, a greenish yellow has just the opposite effect. The brunette and chestnut-haired type can safely wear most yellows, except lime, lemon an'd canary. Lime and green turn brunette and browu sallow, a?id the third makes them too conspicuous, especially the brunette.
