m : The monthly stock sale was held yesterday, when only a small yarding of sheep and a fair entry of cattle came forward; • all of which sold at ruling rates. The following are the prices realised: — Sheep: Wether hoggets 27s 3d. Cattle: Fat cows £8 15s, £9 15s, £lO 12s 6d to £ll 7s 6d; light fat cows £6, £7 to £7 12s 6d; store cows £3 10s ; £4 2s to £4 10s; empty Jersey heifer* £4; small yearling heifers £2; pottei bulls £4 10s; springing heifers £9 10s £9 15s to £lO. Horses: Half draughts unbroken, £2 ss, £4 15s, £5 10s to £i 7s 6d.
